...Three of them, from the same pattern!
First, hello to anyone who has somehow landed here. I notice I haven't posted anything in the Sewing section of this blog in about nine years. =:o And since that 2013 post about a shirt I made for my son, I've made a baby-sized shirt using the same fabric, for his little boy. (Never mind that it was too small by the time he received it, or that my son had forgotten about the shirt I made him nine years ago. It was my first gift to my grandchild, so it counts. So there. I'm his grandma and I said so.)
The three skirts I'm tracing are from Burda 6937, which is probably from nearly a decade ago as well.

I decided to start by tracing View A because it uses a very small amount of fabric, so it will be good for stash-busting lengths of fabric that are too short to use for much else.
So far this is as far as I've gotten, but unless life gets in the way (please, life, do not get in the way), I hope to make all three skirts in the next several weeks. This is kind of a fun reboot-sewing-mojo challenge, because the skirts are quick and easy, and each one will have a very different look.
Signing off for now to enjoy the sound of the nighttime rain.
