Finally -- this skirt took me almost no time to make, but here I am two or three weeks later with a couple of photographs. I used the same pattern as the previous skirt, but made the seams a bit smaller so that the skirt would be slightly fuller/flowier than the previous one. I made it a tad longer, too, but that may not have been a great call (more matronly on me).
I've posted a close-up as well, so you can see the quirky abstract "fish" print. I doubt it was intended to be fish. And I definitely did not notice when I bought this that the pattern of the fabric looked like a camo print from a distance. Not my thing at all, but looking at the photo, I notice that the print also reads as just a floral, so that's not bad.
I made this out of almost nothing -- maybe .8 metres of 140-150 cm wide fabric. I love when that happens. ;)
